Ingredients

  • 100 grams of dried sunflower petals
  • 2 liters of water
  • 1 lemon
  • 100 grams of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of saffron
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger powder
  • 1 tablespoon of cardamom powder
  • Ice and lemon juice to taste for serving

Method

  1. In a pot, add water and dried sunflower petals, bring to a boil and let it infuse for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Remove the petals and add lemon juice, sugar, saffron, cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom.
  3. Stir well and bring to a boil for one minute.
  4. Turn off the heat and let it cool.
  5. Serve chilled with ice and lemon juice to taste.
