Bhindi Masala

Ingredients
- 400 grams of okra (bhindi)
- 2 onions, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons of chili powder
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric
- 1 teaspoon of ginger powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1/2 cup of white wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup of vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup of dried cherries
- Optional seasonings (dried cherries, dried peppercorns, coriander)
Method
- Wash the okra well and cut into pieces.
- In a pan, heat the oil and sauté the garlic and onions until they become golden.
- Add the okra, chili powder, turmeric, and ginger powder.
- Season with salt and mix well.
- Add the white wine vinegar and vegetable broth, reduce the heat, and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Add the dried cherries and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Serve hot with optional seasonings.
- Enjoy your meal!
