Berner Haselnusskuchen
A traditional Swiss dessert, the Haselnusskuchen, is a crunchy and soft cake, rich in hazelnuts and chocolate.

Ingredients
- 250 g of flour
- 100 g of sugar
- 100 g of butter
- 2 eggs
- 100 g of cocoa powder
- 100 g of hazelnuts
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 100 g of sugar for the crust
- 100 g of oil for the pan
- 1 tablespoon of flour for the crust
Method
- Grease and flour a baking pan to create a crust.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, butter, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and baking powder.
- Add the cocoa powder and chopped hazelnuts, and mix well.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake at 180°C for 30-35 minutes or until the cake is golden and dry.
- Let the cake cool before serving.
- Sprinkle with hazelnuts and cocoa powder for decoration.
