Ingredients

  • 250 g of flour
  • 100 g of butter
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of yeast
  • 100 ml of milk
  • 100 g of honey syrup
  • 100 g of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 100 g of chocolate chips
  • 100 g of whipped cream
  • 100 g of chopped nuts

Method

  1. Mix the flour, butter, sugar, egg, yeast, and milk until you get a homogeneous dough.
  2. Let the dough rise for 30 minutes.
  3. Divide the dough into two parts and form two long ropes.
  4. Sprinkle the ropes with honey syrup, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips with the whipped cream and spread the mixture over the ropes.
  6. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool, then decorate with chopped nuts.
  8. Serve warm or cold.

The story

Cinghiale in Cielo were invented in 1975 by two culinary students from Ottawa, who wanted to create an original sweet for St. Patrick's Day. The name 'BeaverTails' was chosen in honor of the local wildlife.
