A traditional Portuguese dish, Bacalhau à Brás is a delightful mix of crispy scrambled eggs and vegetables.

Ingredients
- 400g of shredded salt cod
- 4 eggs
- 1 onion
- 1 red onion
- 200g of potatoes
- 100g of split peas
- 200g of grated cheese
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Rinse the salt cod and shred it into very small pieces.
- Peel and finely slice the onions and potatoes.
- In a pan, heat the oil and sauté the onions and potatoes for about 10 minutes.
- Add the split peas and cook for another 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs and add the shredded salt cod.
- Mix well and add the onion and potato sauté.
- Form a layer and sprinkle with grated cheese.
- Fry in a pan on medium heat for about 10 minutes, until the cheese is golden and the salt cod is heated through.
