Ingredients

  • 400g of shredded salt cod
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 onion
  • 1 red onion
  • 200g of potatoes
  • 100g of split peas
  • 200g of grated cheese
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Rinse the salt cod and shred it into very small pieces.
  2. Peel and finely slice the onions and potatoes.
  3. In a pan, heat the oil and sauté the onions and potatoes for about 10 minutes.
  4. Add the split peas and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, beat the eggs and add the shredded salt cod.
  6. Mix well and add the onion and potato sauté.
  7. Form a layer and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  8. Fry in a pan on medium heat for about 10 minutes, until the cheese is golden and the salt cod is heated through.
