Apam Balik
This traditional Malaysian sweet, with its crispy exterior and soft interior, is a delight for the palate.

Ingredients
- 200 g of flour
- 100 g of sugar
- 100 ml of warm milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 100 g of cocoa powder
- Icing sugar for decoration
- Chopped almonds for decoration
Method
- In a bowl, mix the flour, cocoa, sugar, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs, oil, and warm milk, then gently mix with the flour mixture.
- Add the baking powder and mix well until you get a smooth batter.
- Heat a griddle or baking tray with oil.
- Pour a tablespoon of batter and swirl with a spoon to form a circle.
- Cook for about 2 minutes on medium heat, flip, and cook the other side for another 2 minutes.
- Arrange the apam balik on a plate, decorate with icing sugar and chopped almonds.
- Serve warm and enjoy the traditional Malaysian sweet.
