Ingredients
- 400 g of yam
- 200 g of pumpkin
- 2 onions
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 200 ml of palm oil
- 1 liter of yam broth
- 1 tablespoon of Guinea pepper
- 1 tablespoon of cubeb pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon of coriander
- 1 tablespoon of ground ginger
- 200 ml of milk
Method
- Peel and cut the pumpkin into small cubes.
- Peel and chop the garlic and onions.
- In a pan, heat the palm oil and sauté the garlic and onions.
- Add the pumpkin and cook for 10-15 minutes over medium heat.
- Add the yam broth, Guinea pepper, cubeb pepper, salt, coriander, and ginger, stir well.
- Bring to a boil and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
- Stir in the milk and mix well.
- Serving: Serve hot, garnished with a sprinkle of coriander.
