Ingredients

  • 500 g of pancetta
  • 400 g of bacon
  • 200 g of cooked ham
  • 2 onions
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 celery ribs
  • 1 liter of white wine
  • 500 g of pork in pieces
  • 200 ml of beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 200 g of lentils
  • 2 rosemary leaves

Method

  1. In a pan, cook the pancetta, cooked ham, and finely chopped onions over medium heat until the pancetta is golden.
  2. Add the chopped carrots and celery, and cook for another 5 minutes.
  3. Pour in the white wine and let it evaporate for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Add the pork pieces, beef broth, paprika, salt, and pepper, and cook over medium heat for 1 hour.
  5. Finally, add the lentils and rosemary leaves, and cook for another 30 minutes or until the lentils are tender.
  6. Serving: Serve the White Wine Pork Stew hot in a bowl, accompanied by sweet potatoes or rice.
