Ingredients
- 500 g of pancetta
- 400 g of bacon
- 200 g of cooked ham
- 2 onions
- 2 carrots
- 2 celery ribs
- 1 liter of white wine
- 500 g of pork in pieces
- 200 ml of beef broth
- 1 tablespoon of paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
- 200 g of lentils
- 2 rosemary leaves
Method
- In a pan, cook the pancetta, cooked ham, and finely chopped onions over medium heat until the pancetta is golden.
- Add the chopped carrots and celery, and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Pour in the white wine and let it evaporate for 5-10 minutes.
- Add the pork pieces, beef broth, paprika, salt, and pepper, and cook over medium heat for 1 hour.
- Finally, add the lentils and rosemary leaves, and cook for another 30 minutes or until the lentils are tender.
- Serving: Serve the White Wine Pork Stew hot in a bowl, accompanied by sweet potatoes or rice.
