A traditional dish from the Bicol region, Tugak sa Puti is a delectable sweet and sour sauce that pairs wonderfully with rice.

Ingredients
- 200 g of onion
- 100 g of red bell peppers
- 50 g of green bell peppers
- 50 g of yellow bell peppers
- 200 g of scallions
- 100 g of zucchini
- 50 g of lemons
- 50 g of dried tomatoes
- 50 g of sugar
- 50 g of vinegar
- 100 ml of palm oil
- salt to taste
Method
- Dice the onion, bell peppers, and scallions into small pieces.
- In a pan, sauté the onion in palm oil until golden brown.
- Add the bell peppers and scallions, and cook for a few minutes.
- Add the dried peppers and dried tomatoes, and cook for another 5-10 minutes.
- Add the zucchini, cook for a couple of minutes, then add the lemons and vinegar.
- Sauté for a couple of minutes, then add the sugar and season to taste.
- Let it cool, then serve with rice.
