Ingredients

  • 500 g of polenta
  • 1 liter of meat broth
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • 1 onion
  • 100 g of raw ham
  • 100 g of Grana cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. In a pot, bring the meat broth to a boil and gradually add the polenta in small portions, stirring constantly.
  2. Continue to add the polenta, stirring until fully combined with the broth, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Add the butter and olive oil, stirring well.
  4. In another pot, sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil.
  5. Add the raw ham and Grana cheese, stirring until fully melted.
  6. Pour the polenta into a baking dish and spread the ham and cheese mixture on top.
  7. Make a crispy crust by baking the polenta in the oven at 200°C for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
