Ingredients
- 4 meat pies
- 500 ml of tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 chili pepper, chopped
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 100 ml of beef broth
- 100 ml of milk
- 1 basil leaf, chopped
- Tomato sauce for serving
Method
- In a pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the onion and chili pepper.
- Add the tomato sauce, black pepper, salt, and sugar. Stir well.
- Add the beef broth and milk to the sauce, bringing it to a boil.
- Remove from heat and add the chopped basil.
- Submerge the meat pies in the prepared sauce, ensuring they are fully covered.
- Serve hot with a side of tomato sauce.
