Thiès kebabs are a typical dish from the region, crispy and flavorful, made with beef and spices.

Ingredients
- 200 g of beef
- 2 tablespoons of palm oil
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of Guinea pepper
- 1 tablespoon of ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon of coriander
- 1 tablespoon of black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 10-12 skewers for kebabs
- 1 banana leaf for each kebab
Method
- Clean the beef and cut it into similar-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, mix the palm oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, Guinea pepper, minced ginger, coriander, black pepper, and salt to taste.
- Add the cut beef and mix well to ensure it fully absorbs the spices.
- Thread the meat onto skewers with a banana leaf for each kebab.
- Grill the kebabs on medium heat for 10-15 minutes, turning every 3-4 minutes to ensure even cooking.
- Serve hot, accompanied by a fresh salad or rice.
