Ingredients

  • 200g of flour
  • 100g of sugar
  • 100g of butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg powder
  • 100g of chopped almonds
  • 100g of dark chocolate
  • 50g of chopped walnuts

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg.
  2. Add the egg and butter, mix well until you get a homogeneous dough.
  3. Add the chopped almonds and gently fold them in.
  4. Form small balls with the dough and place them on a baking tray or a baking dish.
  5. Repeat the process with the dark chocolate and chopped walnuts, sprinkling them over the dough balls.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake the Stieneke for about 20-25 minutes, until they turn golden.
  7. Let them cool before serving.
