Ingredients

  • 1 beef head
  • 2 liters of beef broth
  • 1 red pepper, chopped
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, smashed
  • 1 tablespoon of chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet onion, chopped
  • 200 grams of vegetables in broth
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons of sweet soy sauce (Kicap Manis)

Method

  1. Boil the beef head in salted water for 10 minutes, then rinse it.
  2. In a large pot, bring the beef broth and beef head to a boil.
  3. Add the onions, garlic, and chili powder, let it boil for 20 minutes.
  4. In a skillet, sauté the garlic and red pepper in coconut oil.
  5. Add the vegetables in broth and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
  6. Combine the sautéed vegetables with the beef broth, add salt, pepper, and sweet soy sauce.
  7. Let it boil for 10 minutes and serve hot.
