Sop Buntut

Ingredients
- 1 beef head
- 2 liters of beef broth
- 1 red pepper, chopped
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, smashed
- 1 tablespoon of chili powder
- 1 tablespoon of sweet onion, chopped
- 200 grams of vegetables in broth
- 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons of sweet soy sauce (Kicap Manis)
Method
- Boil the beef head in salted water for 10 minutes, then rinse it.
- In a large pot, bring the beef broth and beef head to a boil.
- Add the onions, garlic, and chili powder, let it boil for 20 minutes.
- In a skillet, sauté the garlic and red pepper in coconut oil.
- Add the vegetables in broth and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
- Combine the sautéed vegetables with the beef broth, add salt, pepper, and sweet soy sauce.
- Let it boil for 10 minutes and serve hot.
