Ingredients

  • 200 g of pork belly
  • 200 g of pork intestines
  • 2 onions
  • 2 chili peppers
  • 50 ml of palm oil
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of chili sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Method

  1. Cut the pork belly and pork intestines into small pieces.
  2. Fry the pork belly in a pan with palm oil until it becomes crispy.
  3. Add the intestines and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Finely chop the onions and chili peppers.
  5. Add the onions and chili peppers to the pan with the pork belly and intestines, stir well.
  6. Add the soy sauce, chili sauce, salt, and pepper, stir well.
  7. Cook for 10-15 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  8. Serve the Sisig hot, serving with bread or as a main course.
