Ingredients

  • 2 liters of goat milk
  • 1 tablespoon of acetic acid
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh mint
  • 1 tablespoon of red onion
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of parsley
  • 1 tablespoon of cherry tomatoes

Method

  1. Heat the goat milk to 35-40 degrees Celsius and add acetic acid to cause coagulation.
  2. Let it rest for 2-3 hours, then drain the cheese and discard the surface milk.
  3. Add salt, sugar, turmeric, and black pepper, mixing well.
  4. Turn off the heat and add olive oil, mint, garlic, parsley, and cherry tomatoes.
  5. Place the cheese in a container and let it rest for at least 24 hours before serving.
  6. Slice the cheese into portions and serve with chopped red onion.
