Ingredients

  • 1 kg of mutton
  • 2 onions
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 zucchinis
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Cut the mutton into equal-sized pieces and set aside.
  2. Chop the onions, carrots, zucchinis, and bell peppers into cubes and place them in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, mix the olive oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, chili powder, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the mutton to the bowl with the vegetables and mix well to ensure the meat absorbs the marinade.
  5. Let the meat marinate for at least 30 minutes before placing it in the preheated oven at 180°C for 1-1.5 hours.
  6. Serve the Seco a la Criolla hot, accompanied by a plate of rice or potatoes.
