Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 150 g sugar
- 100 g flour
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 100 g butter
- 100 g rum
- 100 g cocoa powder
- 200 g mascarpone cheese
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 300 g cherries
- 100 g marzipan
- 100 g cherry liqueur
Method
- Beat the eggs and sugar until you get a light cream.
- In a second bowl, mix the flour and cocoa powder.
- Combine the cream with the eggs and gently fold in the dry ingredients.
- Add the butter and rum, mix well, and pour the mixture into a baking dish.
- Bake the cake in the oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the mascarpone cream: mix the cream and mascarpone with powdered sugar.
- Prepare the marzipan and cherry liqueur for the decorations.
- Prepare the cherries and chocolate fondant.
- Assemble the cake with the cream, cherries, chocolate, and marzipan.
