Salade Niçoise

Ingredients
- 2 cans of tuna, diced
- 200 grams of smoked salmon, sliced
- 4 hard-boiled eggs
- 100 grams of boiled potatoes, sliced
- 100 grams of green beans
- 100 grams of tomatoes, sliced
- 100 grams of cucumbers, sliced
- 100 grams of black olives
- 100 grams of white cannellini beans
- 100 grams of green cannellini beans
- 100 grams of green olives
- Olive oil and red wine vinegar
Method
- Boil the eggs in boiling water and let them cool under cold water. Peel and cut them into quarters.
- Boil the potatoes in salted water and cool them under cold water. Slice them into rounds.
- Slice the tomatoes and cucumbers, and dice the tuna.
- In a large bowl or serving platter, place the green beans, white beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, black olives, tuna, and salmon.
- Add the eggs, potatoes, and green olives. Gently mix and dress with olive oil and red wine vinegar.
- Serve immediately or let it rest for 10-15 minutes before serving.
The story
The Salade Niçoise originated in the port city of Nice, where it was served as a light lunch for sailors and merchants. Today, it has become a national dish recognized in France.
