Ingredients

  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • 500 g of lentils
  • 200 g of peas
  • 1 onion
  • 2 slices of bacon
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 200 ml of milk

Method

  1. Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes. In a pot, boil the potatoes with a bit of salt for 15-20 minutes, until they are tender.
  2. In another pot, cook the lentils with a bit of water and salt for 20-25 minutes, until they are soft.
  3. In a skillet, sauté the onion and garlic in oil. Add the bacon and cook until it is golden.
  4. Add the peas and cook for 5-7 minutes, until they are soft.
  5. Combine the potatoes, lentils, peas, and bacon in a large pot. Add the milk, salt, and pepper and stir well.
  6. Beat the eggs in a bowl and add them to the dish, gently stirring.
  7. Serve hot, accompanied by bread or toast.
