Ingredients
- 1 kg of chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 zucchini, sliced
- 1 carrot, cubed
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 shallots, halved
- 2 red bell peppers, sliced
- 1 lemon, sugar, and pepper to taste
- 2 liters of chicken broth
- 2 mint leaves
- 1 teaspoon of salt
Method
- In a large pot, put water and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
- Add the chicken and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.
- Add the vegetables and cook for another 20 minutes.
- Strain the broth through a sieve to remove any residue.
- Add the lemon, salt, sugar, and pepper. Unfold the mint leaves.
- Serve hot and garnish with bell peppers and shallots.
- Unfold the mint leaves over the broth for an extra aroma.
