Ingredients

  • 1 kg of chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 zucchini, sliced
  • 1 carrot, cubed
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 shallots, halved
  • 2 red bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sugar, and pepper to taste
  • 2 liters of chicken broth
  • 2 mint leaves
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Method

  1. In a large pot, put water and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add the chicken and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.
  3. Add the vegetables and cook for another 20 minutes.
  4. Strain the broth through a sieve to remove any residue.
  5. Add the lemon, salt, sugar, and pepper. Unfold the mint leaves.
  6. Serve hot and garnish with bell peppers and shallots.
  7. Unfold the mint leaves over the broth for an extra aroma.
