Ingredients
- 6 artichokes
- 100g of toasted bread
- 50g of butter
- 50g of sugar
- 100ml of olive oil
- salt
- 1 onion
- 200g of grated pecorino cheese
- 2 eggs
Method
- Prepare the artichokes by trimming the outer leaves and carefully cleaning them.
- In a pan, sauté the onion and olive oil.
- Add the artichoke leaves and cook on low heat for about 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, sauté the onion with the butter and sugar.
- In a bowl, mix the pecorino cheese, eggs, and cream.
- Add the artichoke puree and mix well.
- Finally, add the onion and sugar mixture and mix thoroughly.
- Serve hot with toasted bread on top.
