Ingredients

  • 250g basmati rice
  • 500ml water
  • 1 red chili
  • 2 onions
  • 100g pancetta
  • 200g shrimp
  • 200g chicken pieces
  • 1 lemon
  • 100ml olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Method

  1. In a pot, bring water and basmati rice to a boil, cook for 15 minutes, then let it cool.
  2. In a pan, sauté the chili and onions in olive oil.
  3. Add the pancetta and chicken, cook until the chicken is well done.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Squeeze the lemon and add sugar and balsamic vinegar, mix well.
  6. Layer the dishes with the rice and various condiments, serve immediately.
  7. Add condiments to taste before serving.
