Ingredients

  • 250 g of sugar
  • 200 g of flour
  • 100 g of butter
  • 100 g of honey
  • 100 g of sesame seeds
  • 100 g of fennel seeds
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Method

  1. Take a pan and melt the butter with the honey over medium heat.
  2. Add the sugar and stir until the mixture flows smoothly.
  3. In another bowl, mix the flour, sesame seeds, fennel seeds, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Add the egg and mix until you get a compact dough.
  5. Pour the dough over the butter and honey mixture, gently stirring.
  6. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture turns golden brown.
  7. Remove from heat and let it cool on a wire rack.
  8. Cut the Rævemad into pieces and serve as a dessert.
