Rødgrød with Milk

Ingredients
- 100 g of dried fruit (grapes, cherries, plums)
- 100 g of fresh fruit (e.g., pears or apples)
- 2 cups of sugar
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 cup of cream
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
- 1 teaspoon of cane sugar
- 1 teaspoon of water
- 100 g of cereals (e.g., barley or millet)
Method
- Wash and cut the fresh fruit, then place it in a bowl.
- In a pot, mix the sugar with the cereals and dried fruit.
- Pour in the water and bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cook for about 10 minutes.
- Add the fresh fruit and cook for another 5-10 minutes, until the fruit is soft.
- In a separate pot, mix the milk, cream, cinnamon, and cane sugar.
- Bring to a boil and stir well.
- Pour the warm cream over the cooked fruit and serve immediately.
