Potato Puffs
A classic German dish, potato puffs are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Ingredients
- 400g potatoes
- 2 eggs
- 100g all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Oil for frying
- 100g grated cheese (optional)
Method
- Peel the potatoes, cut them into pieces, and cook them in salted water until soft.
- Drain the potatoes and let them cool.
- While the potatoes are cooling, beat the eggs in a large bowl.
- Coat the sliced potatoes in flour, then in the egg, and finally back in the flour.
- Fry the potato slices in hot oil until crispy.
- If desired, sprinkle with grated cheese before serving.
- Serving suggestion: Serve the potato puffs hot with soy sauce or mustard.
