A traditional dish from Songkhla, Pla Pao Khanom Jeen is a crunchy and flavorful delicacy.

Ingredients
- 200 g of fish fillet (preferably salmon or pork)
- 100 g of rice noodles
- 50 g of fresh ginger
- 50 g of onion
- 200 ml of water
- 50 g of coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of tomato sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon of chopped coriander
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
Method
- Prepare the fish by slicing it into thin strips.
- In a bowl, mix the water, coconut oil, soy sauce, tomato sauce, salt, and pepper. Add the fish and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, cook the rice noodles in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then drain.
- Grind the ginger and garlic, then add them to the fish marinade.
- Add the rice noodles to the fish marinade and mix well.
- Form the fish into balls with your hands, then fry in hot oil until they become crispy.
- Sprinkle with chopped coriander and sesame seeds before serving.
