Ingredients

  • 250 g of flour
  • 150 ml of water
  • 1 tablespoon of yeast
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 egg
  • 100 g of beef
  • 50 g of onion
  • 50 g of parsley
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sugar

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, yeast, sugar, and a bit of warm water. Let it soak for 10 minutes.
  2. Add the oil, egg, and the rest of the water, mixing until you get a homogeneous dough.
  3. Form small balls of dough and let them rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Chop the onion and garlic, sauté in a pan with a bit of oil.
  5. Add the beef, parsley, salt, pepper, and sugar, mix well.
  6. Wrap the filling in dough balls and seal them.
  7. Fry the pirozhki and serve them hot.
