Ingredients

  • 250 g of wheat flour
  • 200 g of pemmican
  • 100 g of butter
  • 100 g of cane sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 g of chopped almonds
  • 50 g of raisins
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder

Method

  1. In a large bowl, mix the wheat flour, pemmican, salt, and cinnamon.
  2. In another bowl, melt the butter and cane sugar, stirring well.
  3. Add the eggs to the butter and sugar mixture, beating until smooth and homogeneous.
  4. Gradually incorporate the flour and pemmican mixture from step 1 into the egg and butter mixture.
  5. Finally, add the chopped almonds and raisins, gently folding them in.
  6. Shape the dough into loaf shapes and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 45-50 minutes, until golden brown.
