- 200g Lucanian sheep cheese
- 100g flour
- 50g extra virgin olive oil
- 100g balsamic vinegar of Modena
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
Method
- Take the Lucanian sheep cheese and cut pieces about 1 cm thick.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the egg with a little water.
- Dip the cheese pieces in the egg, then coat them with the flour mixture.
- Fry the cheese pieces in a pan with a little oil over medium heat until golden.
- Arrange the cheese pieces on a plate and serve immediately.
