  • 200g Lucanian sheep cheese
  • 100g flour
  • 50g extra virgin olive oil
  • 100g balsamic vinegar of Modena
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water

Method

  1. Take the Lucanian sheep cheese and cut pieces about 1 cm thick.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the egg with a little water.
  4. Dip the cheese pieces in the egg, then coat them with the flour mixture.
  5. Fry the cheese pieces in a pan with a little oil over medium heat until golden.
  6. Arrange the cheese pieces on a plate and serve immediately.
