A delicious Calabrian pasta dish, crunchy and satisfying, with sardines and lemon juice.

Ingredients
- 400g of durum wheat pasta
- 150g of fresh sardines
- 2 onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 lemon
- 100g of bread slices
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt
- Red pepper flakes
- Chopped parsley
- Grated Parmigiano Reggiano
Method
- Clean and cut the sardines, remove the bones and chop them.
- In a pan, sauté the onions and garlic in a bit of extra virgin olive oil.
- Add the chopped sardines and cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Prepare the lemon juice, add salt and red pepper flakes.
- In a pot of salted water, cook the pasta al dente.
- In a baking dish, place the bread slices, cover with the sardine sauce and add the pasta.
- Beat the eggs and mix with the lemon juice, then pour over the pasta.
- Before serving, sprinkle with chopped parsley and garnish with grated Parmigiano Reggiano.
