Ingredients

  • 250g spaghetti
  • 500g clams
  • 2 onions
  • 2 dried red peppers
  • 20g butter
  • 30g chopped parsley
  • 1 lemon
  • salt
  • olive oil

Method

  1. Clean the clams with a brush or a scrubber under running water, removing debris and empty shells.
  2. In a large pan, bring salted water to a boil with a bit of olive oil.
  3. Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, sauté finely chopped onions and dried red peppers in a bit of butter.
  5. Add the clams, cover, and cook until they open (about 5-7 minutes).
  6. Top the spaghetti with the clams, pour in the clam juice and a bit of olive oil.
  7. Finally, add the chopped parsley and the juice of half a lemon, mix well, and serve immediately.
  8. Enjoy the heat of the dish to savor the crispness of the clams and the flavorful pasta.
