Ingredients

  • 1 sheep's stomach, cleaned and prepared
  • 200 grams of minced beef
  • 100 grams of minced bacon
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, cubed
  • 1 zucchini, cut into pieces
  • 100 ml of red wine
  • 300 ml of beef broth
  • 200 ml of water
  • 200 grams of beans
  • 100 grams of potatoes
  • 100 grams of lentils
  • 1 teaspoon of ground red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Method

  1. Clean and prepare the sheep's stomach, then dry it well.
  2. In a pot, sauté the onion and bacon in the oil with the garlic.
  3. Add the minced beef and cook until well done.
  4. Add the sheep's stomach and pour in the red wine, beef broth, and water.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 1 hour.
  6. Add the vegetables, lentils, beans, and potatoes, stir well.
  7. Cook on low heat for another hour or until the vegetables are tender.
  8. Serve in a dish and season with salt and ground red pepper.
