Norwegian Meatballs with Brown Sauce

Ingredients
- 500 g of beef
- 2 onions
- 100 g of toasted bread
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of thyme
- 1 tablespoon of parsley
- Salt and pepper
- 200 ml of oil
- 100 ml of red wine
- 100 ml of beef broth
- 2 tablespoons of cooked onion
- 2 tablespoons of flour
Method
- Mix the meat, chopped onions, toasted bread, egg, thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Form small meatballs.
- Fry the meatballs in a pan with oil until golden brown.
- In a saucepan, simmer the red wine and beef broth to make the sauce.
- In a bowl, mix the flour with oil and gradually add the wine sauce to form a smooth sauce.
- Add the cooked onions and cook for 5 minutes.
- Serve the meatballs with the brown sauce.
