A classic Lebanese dish, mujadara is a simple yet delicious preparation made of rice and lentils cooked together.

Ingredients
- 200g of soybeans
- 100g of rice
- 2 onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200g of chickpeas
- 100g of soy
- 300g of zucchini
- olive oil
- salt
- pepper
Method
- Rinse the soybeans and rice thoroughly, then cook the rice in plenty of salted water for about 15 minutes.
- In a pot, cook the soybeans and chickpeas with a little water and salt for about 30-40 minutes.
- Slice the onions and garlic cloves.
- In a pan, sauté the onions and garlic in a bit of olive oil.
- Add the soybeans and chickpeas, stirring well.
- In a baking dish, layer the beans, rice, and sliced zucchini.
- Sprinkle with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes at 180°C.

Mujadara is a traditional dish with its origins in the Levant and is highly appreciated in Baalbek, where it is served as a main course during festivals and feasts.
