Ingredients

  • 400g of mussels
  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 200g of butter
  • 100g of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of white wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley

Method

  1. Clean and debeard the mussels, then rinse them in cold salted water.
  2. Slice the potatoes thinly, soak them in cold salted water for 30 minutes.
  3. In a large pan, sauté the olive oil and onion until golden.
  4. Add the potato slices and cook over medium heat for 15-20 minutes, checking for doneness.
  5. In the same pan, add the butter, white wine vinegar, chopped onion, and parsley.
  6. Add the mussels, cover, and cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately with the crispy french fries.
  8. Enjoy the traditional and complete dish experience.
