Ingredients

  • 400g of pork, chopped
  • 200g of spinach, cooked and chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 150g of bread, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Flour for frying
  • Onion dip for serving

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix the pork, spinach, onion, chili powder, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the beaten egg and chopped bread, mixing well until you get a homogeneous dough.
  3. Form the patties with the dough, wrapping each patty in a piece of kitchen paper to facilitate frying.
  4. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  5. Fry the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden and crispy.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve with onion dip.
  7. Enjoy your meal!
