Ingredients

  • 1 kg of mloukhia
  • 500 g of beef
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 200 ml of olive oil
  • 2 liters of beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon of red pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Raisins
  • Walnuts
  • Chopped parsley

Method

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil and sauté the finely chopped onions and garlic.
  2. Add the beef cut into pieces and cook until well done.
  3. Pour in the beef broth and add the red pepper, salt, and chopped mloukhia.
  4. Simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. In a serving dish, place the mloukhia and sprinkle with raisins and walnuts.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
