This traditional Salzburg dish features a meat and vegetable filling encased in a crunchy pasta dough.

Ingredients
- 500 g of pasta dough
- 200 g of minced meat
- 100 g of cooked ham
- 100 g of bacon
- 1 onion
- 1 zucchini
- 1 carrot
- 1 tablespoon of rosemary
- 1 tablespoon of parsley
- salt and pepper to taste
- oil for frying
Method
- Prepare the pasta dough: mix water with flour and add oil, then knead the dough until you get a homogeneous dough.
- Prepare the filling: chop the garlic, onion, and vegetables, then mix with the minced meat, ham, and bacon, add the herbs and season with salt and pepper.
- Form the Maultaschen: with a tablespoon of filling, wrap the pasta into a Maultaschen shape.
- Fry the Maultaschen: fry the Maultaschen in hot oil until they are golden brown.
- Serve: serve hot with a red wine sauce.
