Malva Pudding

A light and fragrant dessert typical of Cape Town, made with malva, milk, and sugar.

Ingredients
- 200 ml of milk
- 100 g of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of malva powder
- 1 tablespoon of gelatin powder
- 100 ml of water
- 100 g of cream
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 tablespoon of rum
- 100 g of avocado cream
Method
- In a bowl, mix the milk, sugar, and malva powder. Heat until boiling and let it cool.
- In another bowl, dissolve the gelatin in warm water. Mix the gelatin with the milk and malva.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cream, honey, rum, and avocado cream.
- Gently mix the cream with the milk mixture and pour into serving dishes.
- Let it cool and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Serve cold with a bit of malva on top.
