Lutfisk
Lutfisk is a traditional dish from Skåne in Sweden, made with a special fish that is soaked in water and salt for hours.

Ingredients
- 200g of lutfisk
- 1 liter of water
- 200g of salt
- 2 onions
- 100g of butter
- 200g of potatoes
- 100g of cauliflower
- 100g of carrots
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Method
- Soak the lutfisk in water and salt for 24 hours.
- Cut the onions into cubes.
- In a pan, melt the butter with the olive oil.
- Add the onions and sauté for 5 minutes.
- Add the potatoes, carrots, and cauliflower, stir well.
- Cook on medium heat for 20 minutes.
- Add the lutfisk, stir and cook for 10 more minutes.
- Serve the lutfisk on a plate with the vegetable sauté.

Lutfisk has historical roots dating back to the Middle Ages when fishing was a means of survival for farmers. The preparation of lutfisk is an art that has been kept alive through generations.
