Lebanese Hummus with Tahini

A classic of Lebanese cuisine, hummus bi tahini is a creamy fava bean dip with tahini, zesty and flavorful.

Ingredients
- 250 g of fava beans
- 100 g of tahini
- 80 ml of olive oil
- 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon of wine vinegar
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon of chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
Method
- Rinse the fava beans and cook them for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are soft.
- Peel the fava beans and blend them with a little water in a mixer.
- In another bowl, mix the tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, wine vinegar, and salt.
- Add the blended fava beans to the tahini mixture and stir well.
- Spoon the tahini fava dip into a decorative dish and garnish with chopped onion and sesame seeds.
- Serve it fresh with bread slices or polenta salad.
