  • 100 g of sugar
  • 100 g of butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 200 g of onions
  • 100 g of caramel
  • 100 g of dark chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon of water
  • 1 teaspoon of rum
  • 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar

Method

  1. Clean and chop the onions, then sauté them in a pan with butter until they become golden brown.
  2. In another bowl, mix the sugar, eggs, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the caramelized onions to the mixture and stir well.
  4. Form a cake in a baking dish and bake in the oven at 180°C for 20-25 minutes.
  5. In another container, melt the chocolate with rum and water.
  6. Pour the melted chocolate onto a baking tray and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  7. Let it cool and serve.
