Kremidi Tarama

A traditional cod roe dip, creamy and crunchy, perfect to start a Mediterranean-style dinner.

Ingredients
- 200 g of tarama (cod roe)
- 100 ml of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 diced onion
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon of sweet vermouth vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 100 g of crispy bread slices
- Chopped parsley for serving
Method
- In a pan, sauté the garlic and onion in a bit of extra virgin olive oil.
- Add the tarama and mix well to integrate the ingredients.
- Add the sweet vermouth vinegar and sugar, and continue to mix until the preparation is well integrated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then let it cool down.
- On a plate, place the crispy bread slices.
- In another bowl, mix the tarama preparation.
- Pour the tarama over the bread slices and garnish with chopped parsley.
- Serve immediately.
