Kofte
Turkish kofte, traditionally prepared, are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a unique flavor.

Ingredients
- 200 g of beef
- 100 g of pork
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tablespoon of ginger
- 1 tablespoon of chili
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- 1 teaspoon of coriander
Method
- Peel and finely chop the garlic, ginger, and chili.
- Grind the beef and pork together.
- In a bowl, mix the meat, garlic, ginger, chili, salt, pepper, egg, olive oil, cumin, and coriander.
- Shape the kofte into balls or cylinders.
- Fry the kofte in a pan with a little olive oil until they are crispy on the outside and fully cooked on the inside.
- Serve hot with a fresh lettuce and tomato salad.

Kofte have a long and rich history, dating back to ancient times when they were made with lamb. Today, they are a popular dish throughout Turkey.
