Kilishi is a traditional northern Nigerian appetizer, sweet and spicy, made from dried fish pulp.

Ingredients
- 300g of dried fish pulp
- 50g of cane sugar
- 20g of chili powder
- 10g of salt
- 5g of coriander
- 5g of ginger powder
- 1 tablespoon of palm oil
- Water for boiling
Method
- In a bowl, mix the dried fish pulp with sugar, chili powder, salt, coriander, and ginger powder.
- Add palm oil and mix well.
- In a pot, boil the fish pulp in boiling water for 5 minutes.
- Cool the fish pulp and mix it with the oil and spices.
- Fry the fish pulp in palm oil until golden brown.
- Serving: serve the Kilishi cold as an appetizer.
