Ingredients

  • 400 g of beef
  • 2 onions
  • 1 zucchini
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon of cardamom powder
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger powder
  • 1 liter of beef broth
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. Cut the beef into small pieces and add it to a pot with beef broth. Bring to a boil and simmer over medium heat for 1 hour.
  2. Chop the garlic, onions, green pepper, and red pepper into small pieces.
  3. Add the chopped onions, green and red peppers to the pot and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
  4. Add the zucchini cut into slices, sugar, wine vinegar, chili powder, cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger. Stir well.
  5. Simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes, adding water if necessary to prevent the sauce from drying out.
  6. Turn off the heat and let it cool for 10 minutes. Serve warm with bread.
