Kheer
A traditional Indian sweet, kheer is a creamy rice pudding flavored with milk and sugar.

Ingredients
- 200g of kheer rice
- 1 liter of milk
- 200g of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cardamom powder
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
- 1 teaspoon of saffron powder
- 100ml of chopped almonds
- 100ml of chopped pistachios
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla powder
Method
- In a pot, bring the milk to a boil with cardamom, cinnamon, and saffron.
- Add the rice and cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent sticking.
- Once the rice is half-cooked, add the sugar and continue cooking over low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Finally, add the vanilla, almonds, and pistachios, mix well, and let it cool down.
- Serve warm or cold, garnished with chopped almonds and pistachios.
