Ingredients

  • 200g of beef
  • 100g of onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon of red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh mint
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder

Method

  1. Chop the onion and garlic and sauté them in a pan with a little oil.
  2. Add the minced meat and cook until it is well done.
  3. In another bowl, mix the red wine vinegar, chili powder, salt, pepper, mint, parsley, egg, and baking powder.
  4. Add the meat and sautéed vegetables to the seasoning mixture and mix well.
  5. Form balls about 2-3 cm in diameter and fry in a pan with a little oil until golden.
  6. Serve the koubideh kebab hot with a bit of yogurt and halved cherry tomatoes.
