A traditional Cairo dish, Kebab Khashi is a culinary masterpiece that combines smoked beef with vegetables and spices.

Ingredients
- 500g of smoked beef
- 2 zucchinis
- 2 onions
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon of cumin
- 1 tablespoon of cubeb pepper
Method
- Cut the smoked beef into uniform-sized pieces.
- Slice the zucchinis, onions, and bell peppers and place them in a large bowl.
- Mix the lemon juice, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, cumin, and cubeb pepper in another container.
- Add the smoked beef to the vegetable and seasoning mix.
- Stir well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Take a kebab skewer and insert the prepared mixture in an organized manner.
- Fry the kebab in a hot pan with a little olive oil until the meat and vegetables are well cooked and crispy.
